Embedded Software Developer for Passenger Car Instrument Clusters
Department Description and Location
For our R&D Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our I IP department.
Inside the department, activities like developing and testing the Software for instrument panel clusters are performed. Our main customers are: VW / Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Peugeot, Renault, Opel, Fiat, etc.
We fulfill for each customer segment the requirements regarding the design and complexity of the instrument cluster including modern technologies and innovative ideas.
Job Description
Our team develops embedded software for Kombi Instruments for a large range of passenger cars (e.g. Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, Opel, Passat, Seat...), starting with reduced complexity (dots matrix display, analog inputs) to a high complexity instruments (color TFT displays, CAN inputs, 2 x 32 bit microcontroller architecture). We are developing software modules (hardware/application layer), having responsibility also in the system integration area.
Your daily challenges would be to clarify the requirements for your tasks, to design and develop software modules, to test and document your work, to come with ideas that will helps us to create a more friendly and professional environment for you and for the complete team.

Job Requirements Description
- university degree in a relevant field;
- knowledge in design (UML, ...) and embedded programming (ANSI C, ...);
- knowledge in the microcontroller and electronic circuit field;
- open minded, good communication skills;
- ability to learn;
- attention to details;
- conversational English level;
Is a plus if you have :
- experience in software development process;
- experience in working with emulators and/or simulators;
- experience in working on hobby projects;
- experience in handling equipments like Oscilloscope, Frequency Generator, programmable Power supply.
