Embedded Software Developer for AUTOSAR system
Department Description and Location
For our Engineering Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our AUTOSAR Center.
The AUTOSAR Center is the organization responsible for developing the AUTOSAR compliant modules.
AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) is an open and standardized automotive software architecture, jointly developed by automobile manufacturers, suppliers and tool developers.
The AUTOSAR standard will serve as a platform upon which future vehicle applications will be implemented and will also serve to minimize the current barriers between functional domains. It will, therefore, be possible to map functions and functional networks to different control nodes in the system, almost independently from the associated hardware.
Job Description
As a software engineer in this organization you will have the opportunity to design, develop, using C language, test different AUTOSAR services, such as Communication Stack, FLASH/EEPROM drivers, Operating System components and many other layers as part of the whole system.
You will get the chance to work side by side with C experts and to be trained by them.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
Job Requirements Description
- University Degree (i.e. Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, Informatics, ...)
- Very good C programming know-how
- Software architecture and design experience is an advantage
- Embedded systems knowledge and experience is an advantage
- Model based SW development knowledge with code generation is an advantage
- English – speaking and writing level
